I think your problem may well be using IRQ 2. On an XT, IRQ 2 is OK to use, but on any more recent computer, IRQ two is used to access interrupts 9 and up. Having the SB on that interrupt can cause unexpected, and potentially unpleasant, surprises. Ron (not…
