Robin, thanks for responding. I think there's a big problem with unofficial drivers, 'cause you can't be sure to get one for further releases of your OS. So I think, I'll ask my purse if it's willing to pay for an (expensive) SCSI-CDROM (Toshiba/Nec) ;-). Jochen
