Max is very fussy about what kind of motherboard it will use. Matrox recommend EISA (Extended Industry Standard Architecure) which has now been superceeded by PCI (Dont know what it means). Anyway PCI is much faster than eisa and I didn't want to invest in older architecure. Well it works…

I don't know if this info is any use but if you want display images from windows to your video out on the illuminator pro get a program called Image North Video clipboard. You just copy something to the clipboard and it appears on the video monitor, Also very good…
