I'm no fan of Microsoft but keep in mind they were dealing with Commodore at the time.
Euro VHS tapes fit mechanically into US VHS machines but the PAL scan rates make pre-recorded stuff useless. In fact I accidentally bought a PAL pre-recorded tape of Yosemite Nat Park and all I got was garbage. 8^) Bob Nolo Press Tech Support
