Roger, Hi, I'm looking for a SCSI drive. The Quantum 52meg sells for $89 via mail order in latest Amiga World. I'd be willing to pay $45 for used one in good shape.

Gerald, Have been looking around for a 2000 to replace my 500 as a games machine. The setup you describe is worth about $400.00 to me, if any one needs it as a real computer, they'll probably offer you more. Let me know where you are located, and maybe we…

Ron, I gave Safe Harbor a call yesterday to see what they've got. They're sending me a listing of CDTV stuff. Got "Sherlock Holmes consulting Detective" in the mail today. Thats more like what I expected from CDTV! Saw a CDTV like unit in Radio Shack today. Has it's own…

Ron, I have given the PC emulation idea some more thought, and it's not too promising. Oh well. Don't think I'll try to expand other than maybe upgrading my A500 to an A2000. Might get that Genlock though. I did a video and filmed my animation and titles using a…

Ron, Thanx for all the info. I was out of town when I bought the CDTV unit and haven't had a chance to try it. I have called around to see what titles are available, doesn't seem to be well supported. Do you think it could take a "IBM-PC" emulator…

Hi. Can anyone explain what CDTV is? I just bought one (a local store closeout for $169.00) and am wondering what to do with it. I allready have an AMIGA 500 gathering dust. Will this unit run my A500 games? Is it worth upgrading with memory, newer ROMs or whatever?…
#34613 DSP for AMIGA Message #34964
Robert, Sounds very interesting, I would appreciate some more info, or a phone number. I would like to sync a DSP algorithm to live video so as to filter noise, or even record to hard disk and then play back in sync with a video. A DSP board is definately…
#23452 Drive choices Message #23903
Am considering drive choices also. Have you looked at the IOMEGA 90 meg removeable? I don't know who makes the appropriate SCSI adapter and drivers but am interested in cartridge type drives. I do think SCSI is the way to go.
