Our tests with the Sony 920S have proved very successful. The 1 mb buffer is fine.

Might be problems with 74 min discs in the Mitsumi. I would verify on a Toshiba or Sony drive if possible.

Has anyone experienced problems with writing HFS formatted CD-ROMs with Quicktime Video? I am using a NEC CDR 73M multispin drive, and I am still experiencing a studdering effect on some Quicktime images written to a CD-R or "One-Off" disc.
