Thanks Larry, Trouble is Adaptec don't provide peripheral drivers in Australia, only operating system drivers. I have been told by my dealer now that the required driver can be obtained for an extra $110.00. This is turning out to be an expensive exercise…typical MCA! I have good old Sound Blaster…

Problem: I installed an NEC CDR74-1 CDROM player to a PS/2 Model 60 in which I had installed an Adaptec SCSI MCA Adaptor card. The system won't run and it would seem that I need the NEC driver for the Adaptec card. In Australia NEC don't supply drivers with their…
