Is the interface similar, or has it been improved? Am I likely to want the commercial program if I'm not heavily into macros, and I already have a spell checker?
Thanks for the info. Is the interface about the same? Do you find the word processor import/export features useful enough that they are likely to make the program worthwhile for someone who isn't heavily into macros and already has a spell checker (Thunder II).

Philip, The Adobe expert collections have a small selection of fractions and superscript and subscript numerals with which you can create proper fractions.

Mike, Looking at Univers in *Font & Function*, I can see that it's an improvement over Helvetica, but I still can't say that it does much for me. But perhaps I'm expecting too much from a sans serif which reproduces well at 300 dpi.
Jon, I agree that Optima is too subtle to render properly at 300 dpi; but I still prefer it to other san serif faces I've had experience with at 300 dpi. I'd be the first to admit that my experience is limited. Are there san serif faces you prefer at…
