Mike – You're tough. I believe that Jefferson city is the capital, but I'm not sure. You are correct – you would need 2 TBC's to do switching on a toaster. Either that, or 1 TBC and a live camera. I've got 3 TBCs in my toaster system, and I…
Michael – I enjoyed your message. Yes, the GVP TBC Plus will work in your Amiga 2000. Quite well. The TBC sits in a Zoro II slot and works as a frame grabber as well as a special effects generator. You can actually have 2 or even 3 inputs into…

I know it works with the GVP EGS Spectrum card – it has a pass through for the "flicker fixed" video signal (VGA at 90 Hz?). If the boards you mentioned can accomodate this, then I would say yes. If not, probably not and you would have to run with…
Al – I think the animation was jerky because the logo I was animating entered the left side of the screen really small (behind a planet – LOGOS in SPACE) and exited the screen in the upper right really BIG and not moving too fast. I probably need to add…
Mike – It turned out to be a DiskMasher. Oh well . . another utiltiy to download. Thanks for the help! Steve
Yeah – maybe my budget will allow me to get a PAR board one of these days. Perhaps I'll get me one of them new Amiga/Excom 5000s promised later this year . . . .and a Flyer while I'm at it. BONG! Oops, I jut got hit with the fry-pan.…
Hmmm – I will have to investigate these options. I did get Rend24 to do what I wanted it to do, then used some other utiltitys to make an anim file out of it. I played it with the DCTV anim player or the DPaint player. I can't remember which…
Asha – it turned out to be a DiskMasher format file. I downloaded the self-extracting file from Amivauser and hope to try it out later tonight. Thanks for the help! Steve
I have ADPRo ver 2.0 but did not know it batch renders. I was able to use REN 24 to get an all the frames rendered to DCTV format. I next used a utiltiy I grabbed to make an animation file out of it. It took a bit of doing,…
Thanks for the tip. I will give it a shot and let you know how I make out. Steve PS – Do you know how to decompress a "binary" file?
Thanks for the suggestion. I will grab the files. I have a problem sometimes downloading files from Compuserve, though. I know they are compressed, but it always seems the compression format is different. I just downloaded a file or two in "binary" format. I tried my LHA program to "inflate"…
Yeah, Rend 24 should do it, but I can't quite figure out how to use it properly. The documentation is a bit over my (thick) head. Steve
Mike – I got it to go at last using some conversion programs I scooped of the board. It looks good resolution wise, but the animation itself is a bit jerky. Thanks SO much for the help! Steve
Mike, Sean – Thanks for the suggestions. I will let you know how I make out. Steve Mike, I can't seem to get Rend 24 to render something I can use. Do I render an animation file, or a bunch of frames? What player do I need to use to…

I am trying to take Lightwave animations and play them out my DCTV (I only have a 2000 and a Toaster 2000). I can't seem to use the REND 24 correctly. My oupuyt animation only has 1 frame in it. Do you need a special animation player to play these…
I've got enough HD space to render 80-120 RGBs. I will try that, use rend24 to convert the RGBs to DCTVs and then run it out to tape. Should be fun. If I only had the cash for a 4000 . . . .
Yes – I noticed that there was an option to render to RGB. I will try it and see how it turns out. Thanks for the help! Steve

Daniel – The 030/50 has a standard SCSI interface, not the SCSI II. The GVP 030 board is fairly robust – the only probems I had was with my 2000 / Toaster system when I was playing with framestores. NewTek sent me a patch that fixed the problem. Want to…
