Mike, Sounds like you got your income tax refund check and it's burning a hole in you pocket! Will you be getting the Alps from Mike, and what kind of price is he asking for it? DWV

Jim, It's actually more complicated than that. When I get the scan list, the same thread will show up twice in the list. If I don't notice the duplication, I may mark both occurrances, and the system will RT for the same thread twice. The other problem is even stranger.…

I am considering replacing my venerable JX-80 printer with an Alps 24 pin color printer. If anyone has had experience with this printer I would appreciate any info on reliability, speed and print quality (text & graphics) that you can offer. Thanks, Dave Vargo 73206,2041

You must be right about there being multiple versions of Transformer out there, as I indicated proviously, the addmem of 640K works fine with my copy. Mine won't work if I add more, but with the 640K added I can get a full 640K available to MS-DOS (confirmed with chkdsk).

Don, In reference to your reply to Bill Forcade about expanded memory with Transformer, I am using the Insider as expansion RAM successfully with Transformer. To get it to work use ADDMEM C00000 C9FFFF in your 1.1 startup, and change your Transformer preferences for 640K. Dave
