From: Richard Henley Autodesk · Wishlist April 26, 1988 1:35 PM

#21904 software protection Message #21913
From: Richard Henley Autodesk · 3rd Party Software April 16, 1988 6:00 PM
Craig, I used to not like compiled code either, and this stems back to my days using the HP-85……as one usually can tweak the code just enough to get it to more than it does………. But after I had the guys in our Santa Fe office start messing with a…
#21896 software protection Message #21912
From: Richard Henley Autodesk · 3rd Party Software April 16, 1988 5:54 PM
Corky, This sounds like a good idea to me…….I don't see why a reasonable demo can't be set up, But I watched a Real live working demo of the non-mentioned product that was poorly done by the presenter, and THEN improperly evaluated by the enginering staff who appeared to be…

#21714- Sketch beeping Message #21729
From: Richard Henley Autodesk · AutoCAD April 11, 1988 9:26 AM
Don – I've found that the beeping is usually silenced by using the relatively awkward combination of: a) Saving the drawing before starting the sketch command. b) Starting the sketch command, and sketching only til the first beep…………. c) At the first beep, or hopefully at the end of a…

From: Richard Henley Forum unknown · General April 9, 1988 1:43 PM
I think those of us who have delt with Verticom have a few tales to tell.. Sure it was probably a mistake not to support (without regens) the autocad display processor, but all programming is the expression of a philosophy.. and for some app's the twin focus is a better…
