Wendell, if you find any info re the Toshiba 3401 B, I would like to know. I am thinking of buying a Procom CD-ROM bundle thru Tiger SOftware which includes the 3401 although they call it the Procom modem.

Kevin: I was also looking at the DAK BSR 380 MS drive. I know nothing @ CD-ROM, but am wondering if this would worl well for multimedia. How fast is the BSR drive compared to other drives on the market?
