#AMIGA dealers/suppliers
Message #29314
Betty – Does the forum have a list anywhere of AMIGA dealers, suppliers, software shops and the like in local areas?? I live in Danbury Connecticut and would like to know who might sell 2000's and other AMIGA stuff. Thanks Randy
Betty – sorry for my confusion about model numbers. I guess I'm still trying to sort this all out for the first time myself. I thought a 2500 was just a 2000 with a hard disk (a 2000HD by your discription) and I was totally unaware of the huge difference…
Thanks, Phil. Your info is a nice combo of interesting new things to consider and muddying of the waters. From all I am hearing here in the forum, it sounds like the 1000 is a long run dead end. The cost of upgrading – no matter which route – is…
Right you are, Betty! So, here's another question… It is being suggested that if I want to expand my A1000 with hard disk, more memory, and possibly a bridge board that I *may* do better to just trade in the 1000 for a 2500. To judge well, I would need…

Thanks, Don. Good stuff, right to the point. Randall

Thanks Dean. It looks like I have some homework and comparisons to do. What about this 2500 I've heard mention of. Is it real or coming soon? And does the Insider mean anything to a 2000/2500?? Thanks again, Randall

Ron, Thanks for the info and the advice. I am not very familiar with the expansion capability of the 2000. And I assume from your message that there is a 2500? Can I add a bridgecard to a 2000 directly? I also want to add a hard disk that, I…
