#26670 ScrollHelp Message #26685
From: Larry B. Daniel Forum unknown · Programming July 14, 1986 9:09 PM
Beta 4 of 1.2 release notes says the Linesdemo source is now floating around. Maybe someone can find it and upload it here. You probably want a superbitmap window and then use the ScrollLayer function. Just an idea… Larry B. Daniel

#24064 Memory Expansion Message #24482
From: Larry B. Daniel Forum unknown · Hardware June 28, 1986 10:15 AM
The 68000 family is famous for throwing out multi-processing and/or virtual memory with the TAS instruction. Why is there a 68010??? So it can handle virtual memory. The 68020 also has a few gothca instructions for multiprocessing. Also, anything that mucks multiprocessing mucks DMA that makes assumptions. Thats life in…

#23751- UBZ Forth Message #23870
From: Larry B. Daniel Forum unknown · Programming June 22, 1986 5:19 PM
UBZ Forth defaults to a workbench style window but is flexible and can be configured to use the CLI window or Intuition only. Source files are standard text files. Block files within standard files are supported. The MetaCompiler generates optimized stand-alone code- with care it could be made romable. Half-Dead…

Don't be scared of Apple, They DID NOT go to court over this Their bluff worked with DRI but would never hold up in court. The only protection they could possibly use is patent and they didn't use that. It is all a big bluff.

Find a crystal, then do a trail from the crystal to the pulsing square seen in the map. Only color matched creatures and squares can make a trail. Use map for that info. When trail is complete, run into a tube for the top level. There is more but I…

Well… Assuming that none of the production line dies in the next few days, there will be several hundred UBZ Forths shipped. Then I will sleep for the first time in six months, then open the box with the nc4000 that is waiting to be plugged into the Amiga expansion…

Just you wait! Have you ever heard of Spiral Systhesis? It is a way to syntesize waveform using the Z transform domain as a basis. I will upload a demo soon. It is in pure lovely 68k code. Larry B. Daniel
