Just a note. It may sound crazy, but I've revived audio cd's by polishing the scratch with some car wax. Couldn't hurt. It seems to help it restore the lost information from the error correction. Good Luck.
I think you need to make sure you have a MIDI device configured through the control panel. The national anthems and such play through the MIDI device. Good Luck. 🙂
