Bill: While I don't understand enough to provide answers to your question, "Hidden Powers of the TRS-80 Model 100" has an entire chapter on the LCD including "How to Program the LCD" and "ROM Routines for the LCD." Full of goodies but over my head. Ken

David: Thanks, I'll look forward to the new version of my favorite utility. I will be using Peter's 64K RAM so will be in need of that upgrade when available, also. Ken
