Yes! FLC files are 8-bit dithered files. Quicktime files are (or can be) 24-bit. You would see considerable degradation from going to FLC first.

Where did you get the Quicktime IPAS? And, more importantly, does do Quicktime 2.0? If not, it's useless to me.

How about being able to render to Quicktime 2.0? I wonder how many thousands of users there are that have to interface with Media 100, AVID, or any Mac program, not to mention the thousands that use Macromedia Director. It would also be nice to be able to use Quicktime…
