I have twenty people confirmed so far for the Comdex party. Anyone else out there planning to come? Especially from Commodore, Apple, or Atari (would love to see the Battle Royale with reps from all three…)

Have made quite a few changes to version 1.00 recently to kill some bugs, and to improve some functions. However Xmodem and 300 baud are not finished yet. So was wondering if y'all would like me to upload a version 1.005, or just want to wait for 1.01 in about…

Got an ad from People-Link in EZ plex a few days back. Wasn't going to do anything about it, but recently I've been hearing how cheap it is, so went back to the file the info was stored under…and I'd written over it, so clumsy of me. Anyway, did anyone…

More on BBS-Amiga
Message #13635
Just a quick note. When BBS-Amiga is put in the DL library by the Sysops and you download it, you will want to copy the "Modem" subroutine from the main program to each of the other programs. I made a change to allow the sysop to type commands while a…

Another Ewan???
Message #13199
Well, because of the way my version of the name is pronounced, I am constantly being referred to as Obi-wan. Amazing the names people come up with eh? But then, maybe Obi-wan is actually Ewan after two thousand years of corruption by the empire…
Will be uploading by Wednesday at the latest thanks to your help. It's a connected series of five Basic progs, and will also be uploading a short doc file for those who don't want to become registered users. I have heard of the LAR process, but have not used, so…

BBS program
Message #13196
Unfortunately its in MS-BAsic right now (simply for speed in debugging). Will eventually be moving to C, but right now am simply to lazy to do so as the prog is running fine in Basic. Of course if you'd care to make the conversion yourself… Yours, Ewan Grantham

BBS-prog
Message #13195
In the first stage I probably will have to stick with nine boards as I would like to upload the prog to here no later than Wednesday. However, already in mind for the next revision ( to be released in about a month), would be a feature where validated users…

Another Ewan???
Message #13194
Hmm… sounds like your pronunciation is closer to the original Welsh origins of the name. Have seen a few folks with the last name McEwan which is pronounced MacU-wan. How did your parents decide on giving you Ewan for a first name? Yours, Ewan Grantham
Selling C-64…
Message #421
Have my Amiga, but am trying to sell my C-64 to finance a clock board, etc. System has the C-64, two 1541 drives, Westridge 6420 modem, Okimate 10 printer, and 60 disks of software (legally bought). Asking $600 or best offer. Call (404) 753-3148 in Atlanta between 8 am and…
ABasiC Term Program
Message #42335
Used the buffer in EZ-Term, and it saved fine, but when I printed it there was an extra line between each line. I presume its because of the cr and lf being present rather than just the lf the amiga is looking for. Any easy way to strip the extra…
ABasiC Term Program
Message #42309
Yes, EZ Term works. I am here as living proof. Trick is to figure out out to get it to work at 1200 baud now. As far as increasing the buffer size, how about sending the buffer input to a Ram disk? Yours, Ewan Grantham 76314,664
To be honest, I'm not sure. I have the prog, but the docs are supposedly, "under seperate cover." Still, the program certainly acts like it is compiling the program you have written in the "LIST" window. Off the subject, our first meeting of the Atlanta area Users group was a…
