Does anyone have information on the SPEG (Static Pictures Expert Group) and MPEG (Motion ….) formats? I believe these are the successors to the FAX standards already in place. Thanks.

Our applications creates 640K Bytes of ROM code. We are still fustrated by the long build times and macro problems as previously noted. Purchasing 25MHz 386's should help.

We are having problems with assembly cross-development (PC to 68000 ROM system). Currently we are using Cross Code 'C' by Software Development Systems. It all depeneds on what's out there (on the CD-ROM). Some files would be easy to deal with. It's certianlly possible to write a retrieval engine for data on a CD-ROM if you know the file format. The Disc formats are generally standardized, so that's not a problem.

Doesn't the Amiga support the implimentation of new file systems (in software) and SCSI interfaces? So it seems that it could be done in software?

That's a good indication of how inexpensive the composite color/RF could be. For gameing use a standard TV makes the 500 quite affordable.

I don't have much contact with Aegis. I do hope that the Draw product line get's revised. I guess it depends on what happens at Aegis? I agree with your suggestion by the way.

Take a look at the SPA (Software Publishing Association) numbers for entertainment software, the Amiga is doing O.K.
