My name is Kieran Fallon. My dad is letting me upload this. I am in Fifth grade. I am doing a report on multimedia. Can anyone give me an example of a multimedia application they are using. What software is best for creating multimedia? Is any one software package a lot easier than others.Any help appreciated. Thank you, Kieran Fallon

Kieran, My experience in multimedia is quite lmited, but here goes. I have AmigaVision (AV) and find it intriguing. Its friendly, icon-filled world practically begs me to explore it. It seems to have enough capabilities to satisfy many multimedia needs. Everything you need is clearly laid out, the various panels give you access to all options (no hidden tricks here) and the Help button is really handy. I expect to use AV as a way to do various tasks on my Amiga without having to learn any Amiga-specific language implementation — even with its limitations, AV is a more interesting way to do quick programs than Basic or other languages. Perhaps my strongest advice would be to comment each icon and to maintain a separate documentation file when creating a large project, or else you'll be clicking your life away. This is my only complaint about AV: the fact that all those options, hidden inside multiple icons and windows, cannot be listed in a complete and compact form the way a Basic program can. Blaq!
