Sorry I cant reply this to the author, but it went zipping by before I caught the PPN or subject, and I haven't been able to find it with a search, so… Someone mentioned using INIT as an autostart program from ABasiC. This has been mentioned before, but you should be advised that it is kind of buggy (er, buggier???) when run that way. For example, you cannot BREAK the program, it will only return to the prompt (I.E., no way to CONTinue it.) More importantly, CHAIN does not appear to work properly from the autostarted program. If you stop it and then restart it, all is OK. Maybe someone knows a way around these things, but be advised there are some flakies connected with autostarting ABasiC. Nybbles, Rick t/t

Also, you can't put a 'new' in your init.bas so it hangs around until you type 'new' in direct mode… [A Use MSBasic… -bob-
