WANTED: One memory expansion board for an Amiga 1000. Preferably one that takes SIMMs, although I'm not certain if one is made. (I'm not the Amiga user any longer, since I gave it to my sister, but she needs more memory, desperately, until such time as she gets around to upgrading to an A2000/A2500) If you, or someone you know, has a memory expansion for the A1000 for sale, CHEAP, populated or not, please send me EMail here as soon as possible. Thanks! David (70541,626)

They never made a board for the 1000 with simms…. I do have a ram exp for the 1000, am still using it for one more week then it will be for sale naked (no chips) it has 2 meg cap and uses cheap 41256×1 150s or faster. Price will be about $50….

It is a Bear Boards 2 meg ram exp. The only reason I'm selling it is that I'm upgrading my system with a Rejuvinator…. All the operating chips are socketed and labeled. All you need are the ram cips. It will include the factory disk with the docs on board. It will allow you to add ram as you get it in 512k chunks. The ADDMEM command they suply does not erase the ram each time you boot, thereby making it great for using VDK: or something. The price will be firm at $50. It originally cost me $148… It is housed in a metal box and works just fine.
