#deARCers

BIG QUESTION!!!!!!!!!
OK, I DLoaded stuff. I have ARC. I need to disolve
the LZH files. I found the LZH/ZOO de-ARCers. just
one thing, how the heck can I run them if THEY are
arced with the LZH method???????
I can't undo the files without a LZH deARCer and
the LZH deARCers use LZH. This quickly becomes very
frustrating. WHAT DO I DO ?????????????????????
Thanx Chris Stewart 70473,1462
Chris,
In Library 5 of this forum is a file called "LHARC.EXE" – this is not an
archived file and may be run exactly as downloaded (although you may want
to rename the file "lharc" on your system). We also have the executable,
non-archived version of Zoo in the same library – look for file "ZOO.EXE".
If you need any assistance in using these archive tools, I highly recommend
the file "ARCHLP.EXE", also in Library 5 (and also executable as-is).
Hope this helps …

You need to download LHARC.EXE, ZOO.EXE and ARC.EXE from library 5 of
AmigaUser.

Chris,
You need to look in Library 5, AmigaUser, for:
LHARC.EXE
ZOO.EXE
These are not archived – they are executable as downloaded. You can leave
off the .EXE from their names on your own machine, to make them even easier
to use.
There is also ARCHLP.EXE, and executable tutorial on using the files, and
also in Library 5.
The big difference between using these programs and using ARC is in the
command line that does the unpacking. For:
ZOO, use the line ZOO X// PATH:FILENAME
and for LHARC (.LZH files) use
LHARC -m -x x PATH:FILENAME
