Need to sell my Firecracker24. Don't really use that much and could really
use the money. Only three month's old and has seven month's of warranty
left. All software and accessories included. Willing to let go for only

trading it for an excellent condition Pioneer laser disc player with serial

Dave, I'm thinking of buy a firecracker for my a2000. I'd like to know why
you sold yours. Was there any problems I should know about. I got stung
when I bought a DCTV which did'nt work on my machine. Would appreciate any
comments you would have, Thanks. Harry.
If you looking for Dave's Firecracker, its already sold to me! Its a
wonderful board and I like it alot. If you already have DCTV and looking
for better 24bit display board, get Firecracker (its the best for now). I
was worried about Flicker but its not bad on 1000 x 482 hiresolution screen
+ screen redraw is pretty fast. So use DCTV for animation & Firecracker
for stills and paintings<-painting software is not that bad. Only problem
I'm having so far is, on my A3000, I can't get the PAL screen to boot
properly anymore.

Firecracker is a wonderful board. When I first started using it, I left my
jaw on the floor gazing at the beautiful graphics. The biggest fault I can
find with it, is in the software. It doesn't have any means to access fonts
outside your assign font drawer. You have to exit the program, reassign the
fonts and then go back in. It's not bad, just kind of an irritation.

Just thought you (and anyone else that has a Firecracker24) that according
to my local dealer Impulse has now extended the warrantee on all
Firecrackers from 1 year to forever! No kidding, Impulse's Firecracker has
a lifetime warrantee now.
