David, I have a Trident 8900 and it is *slow* but has good driver support
including VESA. I also have a Diamond SpeedStar Hi-Color ($169.00 mail)
which I like alot better. This is a 16-bit 32,000 color card.
I also have a PAS which is better sounding than the SBPRO, if you
don't believe me, GO MULTIVEN. I vote for the PAS and SpeedStar.
Michael – As the most direct statement in response to my question, I
believe you implicitly! I will take your advice. You use the Diamond
for AA or AAPro, I assume? THANKS for the fearless feedback!
