#Windows and SDK

Hello Autodesk. I have been attempting to get information via telephone on
obtaining a copy of the Windows player and Developers kit but have yet to
talk to a human being because of your voice mail system. Can anyone out
there help me on this? My goal is to incorporate a player into a Windows
entertainment product I am developing. Thank you in advance for your help.
Fred – I'll get your request to someone able to fill your it. What's your
phone number ?
On more or less the same errand, I spent a long time with Autodesk today.
I called their 707 number, was referred to their 800 number in WA, pressed
1 for the "Product Update Line", spoke to 7 people in succession and was
finally cut off. A second try got me Tamsin (sorry if the spelling isn't
right) who promised to find someone who knew about the upgrade AND
delivered (thanks, Michelle). Initially frustrating but there are some
very real people there . . .
Mabyn,
Please call 415/491-8534 and if you don't get me directly, simply leave
your shipping address and telephone number. I'll send the kit to you.
John
Sorry, John, I meant to make clear that it all came out fine and sure
enough I got the kit two days later. Please take it as a constructive
anecdote, and thanks very much for the upgrade.
This toolkit is awesome. I've been able to throw a file browser together
with Visual Basic in no time at all.
