2088 BB and 68030

I just installed a GVP 40mHz 68030 accelerator card in my Amiga 2000HD. I
also have the 2.04 roms installed. I also have a 2088 Bridge Board. I
amended my startup-sequence to include the command, Enforcer QUIET, like it
says in the 2.04 manual. The first few times I booted up, all seemed to go
alright. Then, one time, on a warm boot-up, I got a requester which said
AMouse process failed, or something like that. The rest of the boot from
the Amiga's point of view went alright, but when I attempt to start the BB,
I get a requester which says "Can't find libraries." I should also mention
that the BB boots off of an auto-boot partition on my Amiga HD. The
strange thing is that it works sometimes, and not others, although it seems
to be working less as time goes on.

That's not all that unusual. The BB is finicky about the way it
sits in it's slot, about how it's chips are seated in their sockets…and
sometimes, it seems like it's sensitive about the phase of the moon.
Try re-seating the BB and see if the problem goes away.

What you say about the BB probably is true. This is the first problem of
this nature that I've dealt with. I suppose I could have slightly loosened
or jarred the BB while installing the accelerator card, which was quite
difficult, due to the fact that it was a VERY tight fit. I had to
temporarily detach the cable from the BB to the 5-1/4 inch floppy drive in
order to get it out of the way to install the accelerator. By the way,
this problem seems to go away permanently when I boot the BB off of the
floppy instead of auto-booting the BB partition on the Amiga HD. Strange.
The C drive is there and everything, it just seems like it doesnt't want to
auto-boot all the time.

Check that the floppy drive is connected firmly.
Otherwise, several people have moved Binddrivers (and ENFORCER QUIET) up
higher in the startup-sequence, then repeated it further down.
