I have several questions about using inverse video text. How can I get inverse text on the screen in Amiga Basic How can I get it to the printer, the esct seem to work ( I have an Okimate 20 ) Also the # is always printed as an English pound symbol I've tried the manuals and the switch settings but don't seem to be able to change it. HELP ..sam

There is a dip switch setting on the Okimate 20 that changes the character set. Switch it from the default, and you will get a true # sign. I could not get the Okimate 20 to switch to the other character set using software control codes however…

Yes, it is Dip Switch #4 (IBM Character set #2). It works fine on my Okimate… John G. Ata
