Clint, I just recieved my Vista Pro 2.0 upgrade and the screen looks real wierd. All of the letters in buttons are bigger than the buttons and run into each other, the black spots are smaller than the indented spots for them, the options in the pull down menus are too big and can get jumbled up, and in the file requestor the file size numbers either ride under or over the bar on the right size? Go any ideas?

Dave, You need to have the 11 point TOPAZ font in your fonts: directory. This should have come with your Workbench…. John.

I'll give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

It was the missing font. I copied it from my WB disk to my hard drive and it looks fine now. Thanks a lot.

David: Sounds like a font problem. I think VistaPro uses the standard system font, though I'll have to check with John to be certain. Which version of AmigaDOS are you running?

I'm running 1.3. I'll look into the font situation. I am running this this off of a hard drive, and it seems to run Ok otherwise.

David: You will need a Workbench disk to run VistaPro from floppy. There is just a skeleton Workbench (without fonts) on the VP disk. You should boot from your regular Workbench and then insert the unarchived VistaPro disk into either DF0: or DF1:. If you have any problems, give Jean a call at (805) 237-2311 and he will step you through getting set up. VistaPro is getting pretty complex to be run on a floppy system, it _can_ be done, but we don't recommend it. Clint <VRLI>

As I said in the previous message I am running from the hard drive. I installed it and all of the other files using your HD Install programs, and everything went to the correct spot. When the program looked goofy I deleted it and copied the vistapro.lzh file to the drawer and melted it using LHARC in SID. Same thing happend. I'll look into the font thing tonite when I get home from work.
