Possibly due to the 'imminent' release of a 386 Bridgeboard, prices of XT and AT B/Boards have been drastically reduced in the UK. Now that these boards are affordable can anyone advise if they will work OK with WorkBench 2.04? – via Whap!

They work just fine with 2.04, I use the 286-BB on my A3000, and in fact am using it right now with Q-modem to leave this message. You might have to move binddrives to the start of your startup-sequence and if you have an acc. Amiga, set cup noburst as well or enforcer quite After doing that, you should have no problems using the 286 or XT BB Tim

PETER, You may need to initialize some files under Amiga's 1.3 ROMs. I've heard the bridgeboard installation program does not work under 2.04. I would not know because I installed my XT BB under 1.3 and then upgraded to 2.04. The bridgeboard works just fine. Sincerely, (Mr.) Gayle Lee Fairless 'Perfessor Fearless' from the Rocket City!

Peter, I was in Gayle's identical situation but then trashed my only 1.3 partition. Now BB is broken. It won't work with WB 2.04 formatted drives. I made an image copy of WB 1.3 ROM and put it on a floppy disk file. Formatting the bad ( new file system ), with the 1.3 command should fix it but doesn't…. yet. I'll let you know what else it takes… maybe 🙂

Peter… It works fine, but: …don't re-install the BB software on your hard drive after installing WB 2.04. The install program doesn't work. …Some people have had to move the BINDDRIVERS up in the Startup-sequence, and sometimes repeat it to get the timing right.
