I am trying to set up a show of DPaintIV anims. To play smoothly
the animator loads DPaintIV, selects ANIM/METHOD/EXPANDED from the ANIM
menu, loads the anim and plays it. Playing from the Director2, using the
script on p.7-8, results in a jerky motion, just like playback in DPaint
without "EXPANDED" being selected.
Is there any way I can get the Director to play back these anims
smoothly as in DPaintIV's "EXPANDED" mode?
I'd like to be able to load five or six of these looping anims into
memory and play them one after the other for several minutes. That is, load
one looping anim (which loops every 2-4 seconds) and let it play for, say
ten minutes, then play the next one for ten minutes, etc. Can you point me
in the right direction?
I'd still like to know the script info, even if you can't help me
with the smooth playback question.

I am not familiar with DeluxePaint IV's EXPANDED selection, I will have to
look into it. What does DPaint IV's manual say about the exact effect of
the EXPANDED selection?
