#MakePath 2.0

Does VRLI have plans for updating MakePath to be compatable VP2.0's
ability to load multiple DEMs? With VP2.0's enhanced script commands,
there are many other capabilities which could be added, but multiple DEMs
are basic.

MakePath will be updated, but I can't put a date on it. You can save
out the Large and Huge maps with VistaPro, and MakePath will load these
landscapes. So currently if you want to do a flyover of a large area, Load
Multiple DEM's into VistaPro and Save DEM as a single Large or Huge DEM and
then load this into MakePath. Hope this helps.

Clint.
Does VistaPro support GVP's Impact Vision 24 board? Thanks in advance.

VistaPro directly supports the Firecracker24, DCTV and HAM-E.
Currently all of the other 24 bit boards are indirectly accessed via IFF24
files.

After I posted my message, I read about saving Extended DEMS in the VP2
manual, and had suspected that this might be the case. However, my machine
has been too busy rendering for me to have tried it yet. Your confirmation
of my suspicions makes me realize that you guys (appologies to Suzi) are on
the ball as usual.
One suggestion for a future VP update: include a "PAUSE" button.
Sometimes while executing scripts the bog-down is a hinderance to
doing other things. It is possible to "ABORT" and save the settings
in an Extended DEM, but pausing is simpler. Setting the priority
would also work, but that requires forethought. Consider me lazy.

I'll pass that suggestion on to John. Pausing while rendering might be
pretty difficult, but pausing between images shouldn't be too hard.
