#BindDrivers twice?
5 messages in this thread
Can you run BindDrivers twice in your startup-sequence? Once to bind in
some drivers, and then again to do some more? Or will this cause problems?
Thanks,

I've done it successfully in the past with a 2090 controller loaded from
floppy and later again to mount a bridgeboard. Depends on the type of
drivers, i would think. In my case I had two expansion drawers as the icons
are read and then matched up with boards with the same product numbers.

Darin,
I've successfully done that. The trick is to control what files are in
the "sys:expansion" drawer at the time of the "BindDrivers". When I was
doing this type of thing, I used a couple of drawers that I "appropriately"
renamed to Expansion just before the 'binddrivers', using ARexx scripts.

I know some folks that find that running Binddrivers in two different
places is the only way they can get their bridgboards to work properly
