Here's a weird one. I have a 500 with a CSA MMRacer in it and an ICD Adram 4 meg board. Just stuck in new 2.04 Roms. Now I've lost 2 megs of the Adram memory. Everytime I run the Adram program to add the additional ram on the 4 meg board, my Amiga goes South. Just a blank screen, no guru message and needs to be rebooted. I called CSA, they said they've never heard of the problem. I called ICD, they suggested that I download from their BBS their latest Adram program. I did that. Still no luck. Now what? When I switch the processor back to the 68000 and reboot, I have all the memory. Any enlightenment here?

Margaret, what time did you download the new AdRAM program? After you called yesterday, I checked with the person that runs the BBS and found out that the new program was not yet on the BBS. He assured me that he would be uploading it that day, and I believe he did before the end of the day. If you called before that, though, you may not have gotten the new version. Craig

Ohh.. thanks. I got it about 11:00 PM Pacific. I guess I'll try it again. Thanks again.

Well, if you got it late last night, then maybe it didn't do the job or maybe he didn't get the new one up. I will check it out. Craig

I'm not sure what job it is supposed to do. I checked the .info on the version I did download and it was last June or July so obviously not the latest. I tried calling yesterday but the line 'twas bizzy all day. I'll try again. Certainly weird, that when I reboot as a 68000, and run Adram, I have all the memory I had under 1.3. This is what makes mucking with the Amiga so much fun!

Don't download it again until at least Monday night. Give me a chance to make sure the new version is up on the BBS. Craig

Ok, thanks. Can't get thru the line anyway. Must be a busy BBS!
