Black Belt Systems is contemplating changing the name of our image manipulation software, "Imagemaster". The reason for this is that in the United Kingdom, the name "Image Master" is already in use, and we cannot market our product under the same name in that country. We would be very interested to see any suggestions anyone might have for a new name. We're looking for something catchy, medium to short in length, and easy to remember. Any implication of martial arts is also a plus, but not required. If we choose the name you suggest, we'll provide you with a free copy of the program as thanks. Thanks for any suggestions you might have. –Ben

Whats wrong with just Image Professional? Of course the Hame version would need a suffix, but I think you do that with the FC version of Imagemaster now…

Nothing – in fact that's one of the options we're considering. And that name is available in the U.K. Thanks for thinking about it. –Ben

But seriously pholks, I did devote a little mental effort last night to help you find a new product name. I'll collect my efforts and post them asap.

Ben: How about ImageSensei ? Of course I'm not sure how that would be translated into some of those European languages! After all, the program's already a master, and untill the user is too, everytime they use it they learn from it! -Mike Schiller In sunny Fort Lauderdale

Hmm…Let's see. Martial arts, hmm? "Image Sensei" "Raster Master" "ColorGrid" "The cool program that lets you make funky images" "Video Toaster (NOT)" "Ben's World" "I played with this software and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt" "Bit-Plane-o-Matic 5000" Well, the top three MIGHT be considered serious. 🙂 Jim

Ben– Here's one that I forgot to add in my first batch.. Photo Zen (or PhotoZen). It has a nice ring to it, no? Jonathan – via Whap!

You asked if I thought it was a good one, I said yes. :^) Keep in mind I don't have final say in this. –Ben

Ben– Hey, that's cool. I already have ImageMaster (keep forgetting to send the registration card in…), so I'm just contributing to the effort. Jonathan
