Ah..punch card stories…..
Someone at school got really ticked off one day, and decided to take it out
on one of the card readers. He came in with a card deck box, opened it,
slammed the contents into the card reader, hit the button and ran….the
box was full of bananas.
We didn't beat on the keypunch that much, just the guy in DP that messed up
our decks. We had fun stuffing stacks of formfeed cards into the jobs
before he picked them up, then had fun watching the line printer throw
paper all over the computer room before he could get to it.
