I am trying to post a message on the Amiga Tech forum. How do I do that
without giving a name and address? I am trying to track down software for
the Ameristar (now Commadore) ArcNet card. I have several of them and
would desperatly like to start a network.

Matt,
Well, you have just successfully posted a message on AmigaTech, and
managed to do it without leaving your address. Your name, of course, is
there, but we need that in order to help us avoid referring to you as 'that
guy with the Ameristar boards'.
Can't help you much on the Ameristar question, except to say that the CBM
and Ameristar products might be similar enough to use the same software.
Not at all sure, though.. it's just an impression I got from hearing folks
talk about it.

Sorry, but what I was really trying to do was send a mail message to
someone (I didn't know their address) and I couldn't get it to go.It looked
like my address was included.
About the ArcNet cards, Ameristar originally made those boards and then C=
bought them out (as far as boards go) and those marked C= look exactly like
the Ameristar. I'm thinking that you're right and the same software should
drive both.
