Chris, in addition to possible sources in LASER3.TXT in Lib #4, Matt Seitz of Meridian Data says he sells MSCDEX, but his message didn't specify the version. By all means check with your hardware mfg. first; they might just give it to you. If you find an alternate source, *please* let me know so I can update the above file. Freebies of it are hard to come by. Good Luck! Kevin–

Creative Labs bbs had mscdex ver 2.21 on it. The number is 1-408-428-6660. Hope this helps you out!

It sure does! Thanks very much. I'll include it in the help file I maintain in the library here, where lots of people will be grateful for your assistance. Thanks again! Kevin–

You can get it directly from the Microsoft Multimedia BBS. I don't have the number immediately available, but can get it if you need it. There is no cost.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, MS yanked it from their BBS a couple of weeks ago. But Steve Solomon says it's available on Creative Lab's BBS at 408-428-6660.
