Hows about a 40 meg ide for Superbase Pro 4?

I don't need an IDE, thanks. (Ulch…that technology was tainted…) But if you have a SCSI, I would consider that a fair trade. Bob

I have found a tentative buyer for SB4, sorry. If he falls through I will let you know. Bob

I should be getting a new A3000 this week. It will be coming with a 50 MB SCSI drive, which I plan on replacing immediately with a 100MB unit. Would you consider trading SB4 for the drive? Chris PS: If anyone else is eavesdropping, I will also consider trading the drive for A3000 ZIPs.

Gosh, I wish I had seen your message a couple of days ago. I already made a deal to swap SB4 for a lowly Connor <g>. Anything else you want to swap for? SB3 is (IMHO) every bit as good as 4; just not as pretty (and not such a memory hog). SBPro's main advantage is that is file and (mostly) program compatible with SB4 for Windows (ulch). Let me know. Personally, I'ld rather have a Conner than a Seagate. Actually, what I am looking for is A3000 ZIPs, and I think that I could trade SB4 for some. I'm not actually interested in the database itself. Actually, I've got a copy of SB Personal that came with a used machine that I have never even tried. Oh well, maybe next time.

Can yoy updrage SB3 to SB4 ? -Ed

Probably not. OTOH, they are being pretty free and easy about upgrades, because apparently a lot of registration cards got lost when the product changed hands. So maybe. <g>

How much is it ? what IF I can't upgrade to 4.X ? how can YOU find out ? -Ed

It's $50, I think I said. IF you can't, tough beansies. <g> I can't find out, because the conversation would go something like this. "Hi, I already registered for my upgrade to SBPro 4. Can I do it again?" "Click."

Chris… How much memory do you want for that 50MB drive? Karl

How much do ya got? <g> Actually, I would like to get 8 1MBx4 SC ZIPs for the A3000, i.e., a 4MB package. Can we work out something? Give me a call at (817) 238-9810 or post EMail. Thanx – Chris
