Anyone know the whereabouts of Darren M. Greenwald, author of the text editor QED ? I need to get in touch with him or who/whatever is supporting QED.

When I was on GEnie I was a QED registered user. I moved to CIS and later learned that Darren basically gave up work on QED. So I moved to TurboText and haven't looked back since. I'm curious what happened to Darren too and exactly why he stopped working on such a good editor.

Thanks for the reply on Darren. I'm not familiar with TurboText but I sure have tried every other know text editor and none of them compare with QED for speed and friendliness. I use it 100%. Too bad Darren gave up on it; it was way ahead of its time. Who sells or demos TurboText ?

OXXI sells TurboText. They are here in AmigaVendor.

Try Turbotext, that's the only editor, on any machine, that I truly like! Speed, flexibility (programable through AREXX). I load it up in my User-Startup with no screen or window, then, via a dirutil or a hot key, instant editor! Bob Comer

Frank, what's your question about QED? Maybe I can help since I use it. The latest version is still 1.0e and as far as I know there're no new upgrades in the works. Darren's current address, as far as I know, is: 1328 Walker Drive Downingtown PA, 19335 =Tom=
