Thanks for the info. I've been trying to get someone to understand that my
problem is NOT with the A520 converter. Any ideas on who could help???

That's chicken and egg argument. If the A520 put out better quality
video, the Zenith might well sync with it just fine. On the other hand, if the
Zenith had better sync circuits…it could handle the output of the A520
better.
No, I don't know of any way to "fix" it other than the obvious get a
different TV or get a different RF modulator…which I'm sure neither is
practical for you.
