#GPFax & PS

Has anyone experienced trouble using GPFax and PageStream. I just couldn't
generate a FAX today from a PageStream document.

Are you using PageStream's custom PREFS printer driver?

Jonathan,
Which printer driver do I have to use in PS so GPFax works?

Jorge,
GPFax has its own print driver. Ber sure and install it in the DEVS
drawer. Before you run PS, run GPFax; then pull up PS and when you print
your document the GPFax print driver will take over and "print" a FAX of
the document.

Patrick,
That's exactly what I do… Run GPFax… pull up PageStream and then
print… The machine goes "guru" at that time…

You must use the "prefs" driver…
-Jonathan
Jonathan… you mean load *inside* PageStream the Preference.printer
driver?
Jorge Escobar/MEGABYTE PRODUCTIONS (…and AutoPilot, of course!)
Yes, that is exactly what I meant…
-Jonathan
Jonathan,
Thank you very much… GPFax works very well indeed with PageStream.

I used PGS and GPFax last night with few problems. Firstly I had the
wrong version amigafax.driver, second for some reason `printing' generated
endless fax pages – I changed the printer driver in PGS to the one listed
as preferences driver which then gives you the choice of PRT: which is
necessary for GPFax and deleted any following pages in PGS.
Works fine now except I always get a second blank page when a FAX is
generated. This can be checked using the viewfax option prior to
sending.
