Help me. I bought a Stealth VRAM VGA controller to use on my 2286 bridgeboard
in my A3000. I assume the card works, but I'll never find out at this rate.
The software drivers for the IBM side won't run if the board isn't installed,
and if the board is installed then the screen just comes up garbage (via
PC-MONO or PC-COLOR) or blank (if you plug the monitor into the VGA card).
I managed to get the drivers and such loaded onto the IBM harddrive, but it
still comes up blank or garbage, depending on whether or not hte monitor is
plugged in,
Please help me.

did you disable the monochrome and color display emulation in the PCPrefs
on the Amiga-Side?
Do you call the VGA driver in autoexec.bat on the PC-Side?

I did disable the emulations; the VGA card doesn't seem to have a driver; you
run a .COM program to set it up.

I think there should be any software (=driver) you have to call in the
autoexec.bat or config.sys

Try entering the .COM program into your Autoexec.bat before you install the
card. You might want to make a boot floppy to experiment with.

Then I guess I don't understand the problem. I thought it was that you couldn't
get a prompt to run the .COM program.
I can't read your original message right now. Do you have the VGA on a switch?
Some people have found that their VGA board autodetects whether there is a
monitor attached, and if the switch is on the Amiga side when the Bridgeboard
boots it doesn't come up in VGA mode. Could that be it?
