Could some body please answer these questions about the Commodore 386sx
Bridgeboard:
1. How much memory does it come with and can you expand it?
2. Can you use it with a VGA or accellerated VGA card?
3. Does it run OS/2 and/or Windows 3.1?

1. it comes with 1 MB and may be expanded up to 8 MB
2. you can.
3. Windows 3.1: yes (I use it); OS/2: don't know

Question 1: It comes with 1 meg. It will handle up to 8 meg using 1 meg ZIPs.
It comes with 256k ZIPS, which have to be discarded to populate it up to the
maximum capacity.
Question 2: If you have the slots you can use it with any VGA or windows
accelerator. I use a Diamond Speedstar.
Question 3: It will run OS2 and Windows 3.1. Janus software comes with a
mouse driver which lets you use the Amiga's mouse. It works perfectly in
Windows, however it does have a bug which makes it work strangely with Norton
Desktop for DOS unless it is used in text mode.
I have a 20 mhz BB which clocks at Landmark of 24. The newer ones are 25 Mhz
and will clock slightly faster. Speed is acceptable under Windows although not
fast.
Just to add one point to Steven Kapplin's message.
If you want to add a VGA board you need a VGA monitor. The Commodore 1950/60 is
OK, the 1984S isn't.
