#PS AGA???

Hi, I just got my new 1200. I was told previously that PS 2.2 supports AGA. I tried changing the COLORS= tool type to 256 but it came up in 2 colors. Does PS really support 256? Am I doing something wrong? Help! / /_ /_/onathan __/chmidt – On AutoPilot from CompuServe Land

Jonathan, You have to open PageStream on a 256 color workbench. It won't open with more than 16 colors on a custom screen. -Jonathan (BTW – Great Name!!!)

Jonathan, with PageStream v2.22 you'll be able to do exactly as you have done to get 256 colors. The patch for v2.22 will probably be posted later this week. For right now as stated in the other reply, you'll have to run PgS in a Workbench screen to get 256 colors. Mark @ Soft-Logik Publishing

Jonathan, PageStream v2.22 allows you to open a 256 color custom screen. No changes have been made to show bit-mapped pictures in color. Mark @ Soft-Logik Publishing
