I just upgraded Autodesk Animator Pro to version 1.3 and it started crashing bugs while loading a series of gifs. The previous version worked like a charm. My machine: AST 486/33 with 16MB RAM 640 x 480 VGA Video7-VRAM II card Using the NUMPIC option in the POCO menu. Sub-menu Loading PICS as FLICS — loading rendered gifs files sequentially, crashed program and exits. ERROR MESSAGE Abnormal program termination CS:EIP=000Ch :000ABFC6h I am using QEMM v6.0 Anyone have else having this problem

I have tried NUMPIC with an assortment of different gif files, following the steps you describe. As you guessed, no problems. Can you tell us more? Is this something that happens with any series of GIFS? Are the GIFS differing resolutions? Which options (INSERT/REPLACE, etc) do you use? Can you try with a vanilla bootup (Files=40) and see if this continues to happen? What computer do you have — name, CPU speed, memory, video card, etc… Hopefully it's not a problem with AAPro and can be cured with some settings. You might run CHKDSK /F in case some lost allocation units are causing instability, and you could consider reinstalling AAPro, in case something happened during the install to corrupt the file. If we can duplicate it here, that would help us determine the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience though. Nik
