I have downloaded some ZIPPED files that I can't unzip. When I use PKUNZIP, it
says it doesn't know how to handle the files. What should I do, do I need a
newer version of PKUNZIP?

Most of the zip files I've encountered on CIS use v 1.1, however many
BBS's use one of the more recent versions (2.04e or 2.04g). This may be the
problem, i.e., 2.xx zips are not backwards compatible. I'm not sure where to
find newer Zip tools on CIS…maybe the IBMCOM forum.

Pkzip v 2.04c and I think e were loaded on s9 of acad forum about 6-8
weeks ago. they may still be in s9 or have been reloacted to their "home"
library…Check it out..
