Tony, Drive7 replaces only the Aple driver. You should have kept the ther extensions as is where is. This works for the most part. we receove occasional reports like yours and are checking into them. Caouls you E-mail me more details, like which CD's,ac setup, etc.? Thanks for your support. John Catalano Casa Blanca Works, Inc.

I'm a little confused. Do I leave "NecCDDrvr" in Extensions ? This is what causes the crashes. If I take it out no crashes and I can read Mac CDs but not foreign ones. So I still leave "Foreign file Access" in Extensions ? Then I presume I leave "High Sierra File Access" & "ISO 9660 File Access" in the system folder. This is what I did and I can't access my Groliers Encyclopedia. It spins up and I see the icon but software doesn't recognise its there. Using a 160 Powerbook and NEC 74 with system 7.1. One more question if I may. How do I mount a non auto mount partion after startup? And why when I launch Apple File Exchange does it ask me for password to mount this partition? Appreciate your prompt replies and great service. Tony

Tony: Drive7rem replaces the NecCDDrvr. All other files stay put. The Groiler uses a different retrieval system that we presently do not support. You mount partitions thru the Drive7rem CDEV, Just click Mount. Best wishes. Thanks for your support. John Catalano Casa Blanca Works, Inc.
