Anyone have any experience with the pro audiospectrum 16 and a GATEWAY 2000 computer?? I am interested in this board, but I have been told that there is a compatibility problem?? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Look over at the multimedia vendors forum….."go Mediavision". Start a thread over there about the gateway. You'll get a response. It's a VERY active forum!

Randy, We just setup one here at work yesterday and it works fine (so far <g>). It's the ProAudio Spectrum 16 Multimedia Kit (with the NEC dual-speed drive) and a Gateway 2000 486/33 tower. No problems…except we had to move the hard drive upa slot to allow the CD-ROM drive to slide into the bay (the 3.5" floppy rails had a small metal lip that got in the way). Sounds pretty good and seems to be fine. Tracy Wright DCA 76004,1655

Thank you Tracy for your reply. I was thinking about the texel cd. But the problem I had heard about was related to the sound board, not the drive. Thanks again, it sounds like things will work out… Randy
