Could you pass along the address/phone number of Nimbus I'd also like to
see what they have in regards to accessing .dbfs on CD-ROM although I don't see
how I would integrate it with my application which is access the
dbfs directly. Perhaps it optimizes the location of indexes on the CD?
Do you know of any reason why I could not compare a 150ms hard disk (very slow
I know) to a 150ms CD-ROM?

Gary,
You could make the comparison between a very slow hard disk and a cd-rom and
should get a pretty good idea. If you'd like to see exactly how it will
perform before you send it for duplication, I suggest getting a single copy
